PAG Agrees US$514 Million Acquisition of Evergrande Property Services Stake

Private-equity firm PAG agreed on 28 October to acquire a 51.016% controlling stake in Evergrande Property Services for approximately HK$4.03 billion (US$514 million), with the agreement publicly announced on 30 October. The transaction is intended to separate the property-services business from its liquidated parent and remains subject to regulatory approvals and other conditions. The deal creates opportunities for transaction advisers, due-diligence firms, restructuring specialists, legal advisers and corporate-finance consultants supporting complex asset sales.
